The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Initiative is a United Nations supported international network of investors working together to incorporate sustainability issues into their investments. The Initiative’s goals are to understand the implications of sustainability for investing and to seek disclosure on ESG issues. The PRI Initiative has quickly become the leading global network for investors to publicly demonstrate their commitment to responsible investment and to collaborate and learn with their peers about the financial and investment implications of ESG issues.
CDP, or the Carbon Disclosure Project, is a global non-profit that works with companies, investors, cities and governments to push forward disclosure and management of vital environment information. They use the power of measurement and information disclosure to improve the management of environmental risk and to protect natural resources. By leveraging market forces including shareholders, customers and governments, CDP has incentivized thousands of companies and cities across the world’s largest economies to measure and disclose their environmental information.
The Climate Reality Leadership Corps is a leadership seminar that provides training in climate science and communications in order to increase awareness of the impact of climate change. JPWM CEO Barbara Johnson received a certificate of completion of training in August 2013.
